PRICES

These are of course bespoke trips, created in between David’s own working life in sculpture, and prices are arranged as an additional percentage of your own budget. David takes a handler’s fee for setting basics up, like flights, transfers, car hire, hotels, etc, and charges separately for teaching, arranging specific courses and so on.  Bronze casting is not exactly cheap, but then again it can be done in Pietrasanta for far less than a place like Rome or London. Foundry or studio costs are separate, as are materials. Accommodation will be priced before your arrival, but generally meals, drinks and excursions are extras, although the choice of venues will be fitted to individual budgets and can be arranged with significant discounts. For courses and handling 50% is payable as a deposit on acceptance and booking of your programme, and the rest four weeks before your visit.

Essentially “Sculpt your way” begins with an informal conversation with clients about your own needs, ambitions, aspirations, skills and likes and dislikes, and a questionaire, then David will suggest a programme and general style and we take it from there. There are examples of the programmes that can be done under Courses, but these are just templates and highly adaptable. If you want to reduce that very Twenty-First Century burden of too much choice though, and simply give a brief – like ‘two weeks of fine hotels, or an apartment, wine, food, sea and a course in clay sculpting, or casting a small bronze’ there we are, simple! The point though is inspiring and facilitating what you would like to do and the journey you really want to take, as we sculpt your way in Tuscany together and reach for a life changing adventure too, that can come with a finished work of art.

Where the client wants to arrange everything themselves, except teaching and sculpting courses, a ‘no-frills’ arrangement can also be made, especially for younger students.
